Before you download, check that your device meets these basic needs. Most iPhones and iPads from the last few years will work fine.
iOS Version
Your iPhone or iPad needs to be running iOS 13 or above. If you are on a newer phone you are already good to go.
Storage Space
You need at least 50MB of free space on your device before you start the install. The file is small and downloads fast.
Internet Connection

Pick the Install Method That Works for You
There are two ways to get Snaptroid on your iPhone or iPad. The direct IPA method is quicker. The emulator method is a backup if the first one does not work on your device.
Direct IPA Install
This is the easiest way to get Snaptroid on your iPhone or iPad. You download the IPA file and install it using a free tool like AltStore or Sideloadly. No jailbreak, no computer needed for most steps. Once you trust the developer profile in your Settings, the app opens and runs just like any normal app on your home screen.
Android Emulator Method
If the direct IPA method does not work on your device, you can run Snaptroid through an Android emulator. Install an emulator like iAndroid, Cider or APowerMirror on your iPhone, iPad or MacBook, then load the Snaptroid APK file inside it. This creates a small Android environment on your Apple device and runs the app from there.

Snap++ IPA (SnapPlus)
Snap++ is the most talked about Snapchat tweak for iPhone. It lets you save snaps and watch stories without the other person seeing your name. TutuApp and AppValley
TutuApp and AppValley are third party app stores for iPhone that host Snapchat tweaks and mods. You go to their website in Safari, install the store app, then find the Snapchat mod inside it. They are convenient but the mods they offer are basic and outdated. The apps inside crash often, the stores themselves get taken down by Apple regularly and the Snapchat versions they host rarely get updated. Follow these steps and you will have Snaptroid running on your iPhone or iPad in just a few minutes. Go through each step in order and you will not get stuck.
Open Safari on Your iPhone
Use Safari specifically, not Chrome or Firefox. Other browsers on iPhone do not support the IPA file install process. Safari is the only one that works for this step.
Go to the Official Snaptroid Website
In Safari, open the official Snaptroid website and go to the iOS download page. Do not use random links you find on Google or social media. Fake copies of the app exist and some of them contain harmful files.
Tap the Download for iPhone Button
Tap the Download for iOS button. The IPA file will start downloading. A popup may ask you to confirm, tap Accept. The file is small and usually finishes in under a minute.
Scan the File Before You Install It
Before you open the IPA file, scan it with a security app like Certo or Malwarebytes on your iPhone. This takes about 30 seconds and tells you the file is clean.
Install Using AltStore or Sideloadly
Open AltStore on your iPhone, tap the plus icon, and select the Snaptroid IPA file you just downloaded. Follow the prompts and wait for the install to finish. It takes about a minute.
Trust the Developer Profile
Go to Settings on your iPhone, then General, then VPN and Device Management. Find the Snaptroid profile and tap Trust. This tells your iPhone that the app is safe to open.
Log In with Your Snapchat Account
Open Snaptroid from your home screen and sign in with your Snapchat username and password. We suggest using a backup account the first time you try it to keep your main account safe.
Set Up Your Privacy Options
Go into Settings inside Snaptroid. Turn on Ghost Mode, set up anonymous story viewing, turn on stealth mode and choose your theme. Also turn on the anti-ban shield from this screen.
Turn On iCloud Sync
If you use more than one Apple device, go to Settings on your iPhone, then App Store and turn on Automatic Downloads. This keeps your Snaptroid data synced across your iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Try a Backup Account First
Use a second Snapchat account the first time you log into Snaptroid on your iPhone. This protects your main account while you get comfortable with the app.
Scan the IPA File First
Run the file through Certo or Malwarebytes before you install it. Only ever download from the official Snaptroid website. Fake copies are out there and some are harmful.
Keep Anti-Ban On at All Times
The anti-ban shield inside Settings lowers the chance of your Snapchat account getting flagged. Always keep it on, especially when you are using the more advanced features.
Update Snaptroid When a New Version Comes Out
